History

May 2019

  • May 23, 2019 - Adam adjusted the sync pulse. Triggerwidth is now 53us. He also provided instructions on how we could asjust it ourselves in the future (attached). This fixed the issue that was leading to the lidar software rebooting the laptop.
  • May 20, 2019 - Laptop rebooted nearly continuously 2pm to 6 pm.
    From Adam (May 22, 2019)
The issue appears to be the same as last time where the sync pulses are low and taking longer
than our timeout period to collect enough pulses

  • May 9, 2019 - Started using automatic Python script relying on PyEphem to open/close shutter at sunrise/sunset. https://bitbucket.org/wunchlab/auto_mff102

May 2018

  • May 26-27, 2019 - Door's Open (MiniMPL area closed off, but many people on 15th floor).

December 2017

  • Dec 1, 2017 - (On or about this day) - Lidar was perched on its location NE corner of McLennan.

November 2017

  • Nov 10, 2017 - Brendan was on the patio with Lidar and manually closed shutter temporarily when planes would pass over.
